Dr. Duke Oeba From Physics Department Selected for Funding by UNESCO-TWAS under the Seed Grant for New African Principal Investigators (SG-NAPI).
This research grant is able to support Dr. Oeba's scientific project financially, thanks to the generous contribution of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). The project focuses on the Synthesis and Characterization of Materials for Solar Cell Applications
The grant contract duration is 24 months starting from January 2023 to December 2024. The grant will cater to two master's students, laboratory equipment and consumables, mobility for international exchange in South Africa, conference presentations, and open-access publications. The project will be implemented in Egerton University, Physics Department, and in collaboration with the University of South Africa
